I have reviewed crypto and offshore casinos for New Zealand players since 2017. My focus is narrow on purpose: Bitcoin and crypto payouts, the small print in bonus terms, and provably fair gaming. Those are the three areas where players lose money to things they could not see coming, so they are the three I dig into hardest.
The rule I work to is simple. Every casino on this site is one I have signed up to and funded myself. I make a real deposit, play, request a withdrawal, and time it. If an operator only sends a press release, it does not get a review from me.
What I pay attention to
Payout speed is the headline. A casino can promise instant crypto cashouts and still sit on a request for 48 hours of "pending" review, I record what actually happens, not what the banner says. After that comes wagering: a 40-spin bonus means little when the playthrough is 200x and half the games are excluded. Then provably fair mechanics, where I check whether you can actually verify a result or just have to trust the house.
Where I draw lines
I do not review a casino I would not deposit at myself. I flag offshore licensing for what it is, lighter protection than a domestic regulator, rather than dressing it up. And I keep commercial deals away from scores; you can read exactly how in our affiliate disclosure.
More on the people and process behind the reviews is on the about page. The mechanics are written up in how we test and how we rate. To reach me directly, use the contact page.
